PROGRAM FOR 2 DAY TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO ZAGORA :
DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU – DRAA VALLEY – ZAGORA
Your private Morocco tour from Marrakech to Zagora desert starts today and we will pick up you from your hotel/riad (traditional Moroccan house) and we travel to the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n'Tichka at 2260 meters. We will visit Ait Benhaddou village and its unique Kasbah where a list of movies have been filmed here : “Lawrence of Arabia”, ”Jesus of Nazareth”, ”Gladiator” and others. It is also listed as UNISCO world heritage site. We continue our 2 DAY TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO ZAGORA and after lunch here we drive to Draa valley crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and enjoying its landscapes. The Draa valley is one of the old caravan roads transporting gold, ivory and slaves. We reach Zagora and that will be our final destination for today. We will experience camel ride to desert Berber tents in desert camp with dinner around the campfire there will be also Berber music for perfect evening’s atmosphere.
DAY 2 : ZAGORA – DRAA VALLEY – OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH
Next morning our private Morocco tour from Marrakech to the desert continues driving back through valley of Draa. A great history is in this valley that spreads along the river that has the same name Draa river more than 200 km of palm groves. It is 160 km to reach Ouarzazate where we may visit local movie studio and local kasbah Taourirt ,which represents the Berber architecture and one of the old trade cities in Morocco. Ouarzazatte is very known as “Hollywood of Morocco” because it has a number of cinema studios (ECLA Studio, Altas corporation). After lunch here we drive back to Marrakech via Tizi-n-Ticha. That's the end of 2 DAY TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO ZAGORA.
